Is Restoration Hardware expanding in Green Hills?

The Nashville Post recently reported that the former Ruby Tuesday location at the Mall at Green Hills is being renovated to become the new home of Carrabba's, currently attached to the mall. In addition, Gus Mayer moved from its location in the same area across the parking lot this fall.

So, what is the space being cleared for?

As noted in our story about the overall expansion at the Mall at Green Hills, sources with Taubman, the mall's owner, have said space is being cleared for an expanded Restoration Hardware store. if so, the new store is likely part of Restoration Hardware’s build out of Full Line Design Gallery stores, generally more than 40,000 square feet in size allowing the retailer to display its full line of products within one location. 

The intent for a full-line gallery in Nashville was reported in trade press as early as two years ago, however, representatives of the Mall would not confirm plans for the space.

So I guess we'll have to wait and see.
